2008-2009 Photos

2008's production of Aristophanes's Birds was a reinerpration of the classic with the aim of translating the true spirit of Aristophanes's comedy for our modern world. The result was raucus lampooning of the past century of American culture and politics. No one was safe, from Einstein to the Governator. While it was not submitted as a participating show with ACTF, Ben McLaughlin and Roger Negron were nominated to compete in the 2009 Irene Ryans, and Kate Bunce won a New England regional award for her work on the excellent costumes. - click on a thumbnail for the hi-res image -
